Questions
How does licensing work?
Each licence is one seat for one person, for a year, paid once. One licence makes an individual account. Two or more make a team, and you choose who holds each licence from your BioCognia dashboard. No sign-in is needed to buy: your licence keys are sent to the email you give at checkout.
Who can buy at the academic price?
People at academic institutions. We confirm it from your institutional email address at checkout. If your institution's domain is not recognised, you can ask us to review it.
Can we add people to a team later?
Yes. Buy more licences at any time with the same email, and give them out from your dashboard. Each licence runs for a year from when it is bought.
What happens after a year?
Nothing is charged again: licences do not renew by themselves. We email you before they end, and you renew by buying again. Without a licence, each product's free tier keeps working.
Can the invoice go to my institution?
Yes. At checkout, address the invoice to your institution with its legal name, address and tax ID, and add your purchase-order reference. Invoices and receipts are in your dashboard. If your institution needs a quote first, write to support@biocognia.com.
